I remember how happy I would get when the chute finally opened properly!
I USED Lotus 123 version 1.0 up until 1999. It occupied 100k of memory and loaded and ran while a win95 version was still booting.
Lotus 123 was my goto until they released Smartsuite in around 2000
Speaking of Lotus, how many used the POS that was Amipro?
The place I worked in the late 1990's used OS/2 and IBM apps, after IBM bought Lotus. 123, Lotus Notes, Amipro and Freelance graphics.

My dad had one of these when he was a kid
Ah, yes! I had at least two or three of those. They seemed to have built-in targeting mechanisms for 1) the impenetrable briar patch along the edge of the woods, and/or 2) the most unreachable end of the rain gutters on top of the house.
I busted the pump on one by pumping it way beyond the recommended number of times. A friend of mine busted the seam on the rocket itself doing that! 
I still have one of these stashed in a cabinet in the garage.
I remember getting all wet every time launched
Does anybody remember somebody making a much larger version for a few years?
I had one that was a two-stage version. I don't think we ever found the top rocket...
I want to say I saw a larger version that may have used a foot pump, but I could be utterly wrong about that. The grey cells are a bit cluttered at this point.
