Things You Don't See Anymore Part 3

I think Welk heard "sweet Mary" and "sweet Jesus" and jumped to his own conclusion about the whole song.
To be fair, if you'd never heard the word "toke"...
The song came out when I was still a kid and didn't know of such things. There was no "google song lyrics" in 1970-whatever.
I thought the song was "one toe over the line" which made sense, as much or more sense than many song lyrics of the day.
It's only in the knowledge of what the lyric actually was that the cover becomes horrifically ironic

Rare Nikon F3HP 'T': Titanium body. F3's were THE workhorse pro camera of the 80's/90's, and they released a very limited run in Titanium.

THE great Nikon rangefinder of the 50's before SLR's took over, here the early-aughts SP reissue. The originals morphed into . . . .

. . . . the original Nikon F SLR, essentially the SP mechanicals with a quick return mirror and pentaprism grafted on.
Bravo. I shoot and collect old cameras and some of the crown jewels in my collection are a Contax II, Leica IId, Nikon S, Nikon SP, Leica M3, Leica M2, Leica M6, Nikon F1, Nikon F2, Rolleiflex 2.8s and 3.5s, etc. I try to take one out with me and shoot at least one frame every day. Long live analog film and mechanical cameras! 🤘

My dad was a wedding photog, ran a pair of Rollei 2.8F's, and had an original prism (no meter!) Nikon F with the early 58/1.4 and 105/2.5 for his fun camera.

I keep around a Yashica 35GTN and a Konica Auto S2 (killer Hexanon lens), but now that Velvia 50 is 36 bucks a roll, it's gotten really hard to talk myself into it any more, and the Fuji X cameras scratch my itch now.

Wonderful collection!
