Things You Don't See Anymore Part 3

Had 2 of those. Foolishly sold the first one. The second got stolen. In retrospect, my favorite. A simple robust everyday "driver". Like a P bass.
bought it for one reason only: The 110 cartridge! I had somehow developed an extreme and probably irrational dislike to fiddling around with those 'flaps' of the 35mm rolls [I've always been somewhat eccentric...]
The solution was the Canon QL system that automatically threaded the film. They only used it on a couple models, but one of them was my FTb, which many regard as one of the very best 35 mms ever made. I still have it but have no idea what kind of shape 20 years of storage have left it in. : (

Once again, my friend, you and I are on the same wavelength. Just the day before, a coworker and I were reminiscing about the Sid & Marty Krofft universe, with HR Pufnstuf along with Sigmund & the Sea Monsters. We then thought of another show by them, but we couldn't remember the name of it...turned out to be Lidsville, starring Butch Patrick. That one didn't last too long.
Reading the Krofft Wikipedia article, it states that some people thought they were under the influence of LSD when they came up with these unique characters. They denied it, but I think the jury is still out.
I miss TV station sign-offs.
The first one is possibly the longest but it’s supposed to put you in a beddy-bye mood. I remember this one from 1986 -KRON-SF.Ca.
This a nice collection of eastern US station sign offs from 1956-1975. My favorite is the first one from KYW-Cleveland. It’s so doo wop. I love the high falsetto when they sing out O-Hiii-O.

Yes, there are stone pucks, but this company went under, and th8s was a pick shaped like half standard, half jazz pick, part of why it broke.
