I still have that as an album but not an 8-track. My first car had an 8-track player bolted to the transmission hump. It was already dead when I got the car though so I never bought any 8-track tapes.

I had a friend who loved those players, but they inevitably changed tracks in the middle of my favorite songs, so I had little use for them personally.
 
Or in a metal can. With sharp edges. When those first came out, they didn't have the Child Safe lids. Cut my finger once or twice. Gave new meaning to the term Blood Pudding! ;)

40+ years later, I still have the stitch marks in my hand from cutting myself in the school cafeteria opening one of those. I loved the vanilla. My mom stopped buying them after that happened.
