We didn't have trees in our backyard at our old house, where I lived until the age of 7, but I really wanted one so my dad and I (I thought I was helping, I was probably more of a nuisance though) built a two storey fort as tall as a two storey building. It was absolutely fantastic. We had locking doors and I had my very own keyring with keys to all three door locks. The bottom "floor" was like a shed for all my toys (I had many large toys that wouldn't fit in the garage), and the top floor was the fort, which I had furnished with my little kiddie chairs and a little plastic table. It had two ways in, we built stairs to the big main door and then on the other side we took apart my play structure and attached the monkey bars to the fort with a little locking door. It took almost three months to build IIRC (my dad was gone for work a lot) but it was truly the greatest fort ever, way better than the tree fort I could've had!!! Sorry for the epic post but I kinda got carried away on memory lane there...it's still at the house I think, I'm 14 and still miss it....it had full sized windows and everything.
1.5x or 2x playback with intelligible audio? DBX or Dolby noise reduction?
