Found them! They were called slot cars, I had a track similar to this one but it was a two lane and it covered an entire bed :D I loved these things!

Here's a huge 8 lane track race, this kind of stalling and flying off the track was what happened whenever you pushed it full throttle, was I the only one who remembers these?
!

The track record for the one in post 700 is well under 2 seconds, BTW. Used to be around 4 seconds in the late 60s when I was into it. The track length is 155 feet and the layout is pretty much the standard for 1/24th racing.

Oh! Looks like I missed a page, this thread moves so quickly it's hard to keep up! I didn't have anything that fancy or fast, just an oval that I used to send the cars flying into the wall off the corners, so many dents in that wall....

Yep, the thread is moving fast. I had HO and 1:32 tracks at home, but there were also huge commercial places all over the area where I grew up, with track lengths upwards of 300 feet in some cases.

A little obscure but does anyone remember these?
"Mobile Action Command" figurines with vehicles. I got the headquarters set one time for Christmas when I was a kid. It was a fake mountain-type thing with rooms inside etc. Cool stuff!

Glass soda cups for promotions from McDonald's. They had Coca-cola printed on them or a picture of Grimace or the Hamburglar. They're all plastic now.

Nope,,,,,we've got glass ones we just got last summer.
Worst week of food I've had in years to get the set of 8 I got myself.
I couldn't believe it when I saw it was the real glass Coke glasses.

I had one of those! I won World War 2 with one back in the 60s! I also had a Sixfinger! :D

I must have my mind in the gutter, because I surely thought of an appendage but it in no way was a finger.
That looks a little too much like something you'd find in a head shop/ novelty store hanging on the back wall next to the plugs & beads.
