Doctors making "house calls". When I was a kid in the sixties my father was a doctor with the classic black bag. I remember going with him to see patients in their own home, making a diagnosis with no labs, x-rays or tests and treating them with the meds he carried in the bag.

You don't see that happening much anymore.
 
Anyone remember the underground Monopoly game "Risk"? Early 70's game came in a 3' tube like a joint where you bought and sold lbs, sheets of windowpane & k's, would occasionally get busted, bought Ferraris, women and houses. Whoever landed up with all the money and dope won.
 
Matchbooks - when every restaurant, hotel, gas station, etc. gave out a matchbook with their advertising. I used to collect them. I probably have thousands, but can't get many anymore.

my dad did the same! I need to find if my mom still kept his black bag. I remember one time we had to go to elementary school dressed as our father's profession, and it's the only time he let me take his bag.
