Things you'd like to see from SX

'54 style single coil p-bass, like what turser makes. i'd buy that.

I actually spoke with Kurt about this earlier this year. Either a slab '51 or a contoured '54 single coil P bass.

He liked the idea.

He ran it past the company that produces the SX stuff and they didn't go for it.

But he tells me he plans to roll out a Douglas version of the SC P-bass in '09.

If they'd get their regular bass necks down to a manageable size, I'd buy another one. As it is, the ones I have sit disassembled under the couch. :)

My SX P basses necks are smaller than both of my Fender Precisions.

I have to say, that my SPB 62's neck is super comfy, for me anyway. I know the J basses are slightly bigger than a Fender, but I don't find that to be terribly offensive.
