I actually spoke with Kurt about this earlier this year. Either a slab '51 or a contoured '54 single coil P bass.

He liked the idea.

He ran it past the company that produces the SX stuff and they didn't go for it.

But he tells me he plans to roll out a Douglas version of the SC P-bass in '09.

Aw hell yeah. I'd love to see that. Not even Warmoth makes a non reverse T-bird body. I think reverse T-birds are hot too, but the non-reverse is where it's at for me.

I'm waiting for the Jaguar style with a fretless maple neck with white block inlays. yeah, I know they sell the necks alone, and they sell the basses - but I don't want to pay an extra $60 more for a $150 bass. I'll just wait.

And I'd also like to see the LTDs come in a few more colour options, specifically a natural or candy apple red jazz with black PG and black block inlays.

They can't sell those in the USA ... They made MM copies but Ernie Ball shut them down ... Ric would shut down Ric copies very quickly as well.

If they'd get their regular bass necks down to a manageable size, I'd buy another one. As it is, the ones I have sit disassembled under the couch.

My SX P basses necks are smaller than both of my Fender Precisions.

I have to say, that my SPB 62's neck is super comfy, for me anyway. I know the J basses are slightly bigger than a Fender, but I don't find that to be terribly offensive.

I'd also like to see a single-coil Telebass version from SX. A better constructed version of the Turser or Squier T-bass would be great. I also think a headless bass of some sort (Steinberger-esque?) would be cool.

+1 to the ric and non reverse thunderbird but we all know the ric would never happen. It would be cool to see some copies of ovation magnums, gibson grabbers/rippers, semi-hollows, and maybe a bass VI
