if anybody hasn't, we should refer kurt to this (if he hasn't seen it already), something could maybe come about.
I like the idea of the separate parts, that'd be amazing.

did you notice that all those brands probably have very strict policies about copies, hence the---
I think it's only worth passing to Kurt if:
someone summarizes it concisely, noting trends where
multiple people were looking for the same thing.
Kurt is a busy guy, and he fields a ton of e-mail traffic.
Some of the posts are, IMHO, exotic requests that don't represent significant market potential. Others are not realistic build possibilities at low price points. That stuff should be filtered before bothering to send to Kurt. IMHO.

would like to see an olympic white or arctic white Jazz and/or P bass with matching headstock, equipped with a pearl pick guard and maple neck with pearl block inlays and nickel hardware, including a high mass bridge....

He's sorta pigeon-holed into accepting what's available from the main SX factory. He also knows that most guys do their own upgrades and paintjobs so he's not really in a hurry. Can't really ask the guy to do more than he already provides the SX crowds. I'm taking a day to head up to New Hampshire to pay a visit before the end of the summer. Trust me, he knows the things that people want. He's a great guy and sometimes I think he's not even in this for the money. I've noticed from the past when people make requests on their own he puts that in the back burner. For example, some things that were asked for in the summer sometimes will mysteriously become available in the fall . . .
1) "Fender standard" headstocks for the standard models...
2) Standard 34" scale Coronado replicas (even paying some rights to Fender): none does this and they would sell a lot... I guess!!!

+1000 on the 5 strings PJ model ... maybe a LTD jazz 5 strings with a P pickup instead of the neck J pickup ? ash body, choice on maple or rosewood neck ... would be a great deal, isn't it ?
Some of these suggestions seem a bit too particular. It would be hard to find a market for them.
