Things you'd like to see from SX

I think the kit box idea is cool. In fact, I'd love to just see many of their instruments come with just the neck and painted body(+bolts and misc stuff), for those of us who would just swap out the electronics and tuners anyway. I don't know how much they would be able to knock of the price if they could do that.
I'd also like to see more left handed guitars that aren't strats or tele copies. Not so much a personal request but one for a friend.
Oh and an active HH jazz style SX would be the bee's nee's.

Not gonna happen...that is the one thing Fender Trademarked and protects....exact headstocks are shut down....but hmmm...a lawsuit SX?
but did fender trademark that odd 12 string head stock or just the standard shape?
They did those and got threatened with a lawsuit by EBMM. That's why you'll never see them again in the US. You can still find some overseas though.
Or even a long scale semi-hollow (ala Epiphone Jack Casady) but with two pickups. That I would buy in a heartbeat!
Rondo got smacked hard by EBMM on their stingray copy. EBMM owns a trademark/design patent on a 3+1 headstock of that design. I believe, but cannot verify, that Rondo had some sort of settlement with them, so no way they're going to do that again.

Note that's not a 4+1 headstock, it's a 3+2, or really a 3+1+1. Of course, Turser can't do ANYTHING if an end user would choose to violate a trademark and flip that top tuner around 180 degrees.
And, of course, Rickenbacker has an elite team of lawyer ninjas who will bust into your home and beat up your dog if you so much as THINK about a Rick shaped instrument they didn't make. So that's out.
Honestly, I'd like two (and a half) things:
1) A 5 string P.
2) A 4 string starfire/artcore style hollowbody.
2.5) In the guitar arena, I wish they'd sell their stuff completely unfinished. I'd love to grab one of the Agile LP copies and not have to break out the napalm and sandblaster to redo it in Nitro.

I have this exact Turser, and it's a keeper! The one I have is a smooth player with a smooth sound.

I don't really know what type of guitar that is. It's one of Adrian Belew's guitars. I seriously doubt that anyone is making copies of SXs now though. I think there I saw somewhere where they said the design was original, but that's clearly more than coincidence.
*At least the shape is kind of different, but only in the way that their V is different from the others, the pickguard and controls are too similar.
Personally, I'd like to see a 7 string bass or a fretless 6 string acoustic bass.

If they'd get their regular bass necks down to a manageable size, I'd buy another one. As it is, the ones I have sit disassembled under the couch.
second on the neck. had use of a P bass and did not like the neck thickness. I have heard this many times and don't understand why the marketing people haven't picked up on this
What about their J necks? I have never done any SX neck swapping, but, is it possible to have a J neck of theirs on a P body?
