Thinking about buying this pick. No Joke.

I'm not sure if you'll really notice a difference in your sound because you're playing an electric instrument, but I'm sure it'll feel good in your hands.

I know Blue Chip Picks are extremely popular for mandolin, but that's an acoustic instrument.

Back in the '70s Pat Martino was involved in marketing polished stone picks. The ones he was using (Min'd Picks) seem to be gone, but you can find similar ones on Amazon. I'd go with that rather than wood, if I were to use a pick and to want a super stiff, super smooth one.

That's not expensive. This is expensive. http://shop.bluechippick.net/ look at the Bluechip td100. It's $75 USD for one.

Trying to find out on their website what the chip is made out of. Can't seem to find anyting. Any clue as to what material is used? I would try one. Maybe not the $75 dollar one, but one of their cheaper ones.

Depending what they are made of tho. I mean, I know I am a rookie, and definitely willing to try anything new. But Im no sucker. Them not being up front on what its made of tells me its probably plastic.

Already have a 1000 plastic ones.

Hey, Cobra, if you decide to buy this, would you mind shooting me maybe $10 or $20? Any time I think I may have a few bucks to buy something unnecessary like rubber testicles for my mower or a third boob for the wife, one of the kids does something insane like dumping chainsaw fuel into the car or shaving the cat.

Thanks, man!
