Thinking about buying this pick. No Joke.

Anybody ever use this pick before? Its pretty expensive for a pick. I currently use a small Jazz 3 Carbon pick. Hard as a rock.

The description makes it out like this will put all other picks to shame. I know, whatever it takes to make the sale. But, what you think?

Theres even a link to a video where they burn one. The pick, not a doobie...lol The purpose of it? IDK...

I've tried "tonewood" picks before and didn't think the sound was very good. I was able to get them at a Sam Ash store 3 for $10 in rosewood, and didn't really get along with them. They didn't have the strong attack that I was hoping for...

I do currently use either a Telefunken graphite 2mm or the single Adamas graphite 2mm I have left.

No clue. Just never seen one like it and like trying new things. I can tell you from personal experience, don't buy the Dunlop Felt Picks. Overpriced, oversized, 3.8mm thick fuzzy junk... At least IMO...
But they're great if you're playing a ukulele!

Some folks are charging way more than that for wooden picks. If you dig it, try it. $10 isn't so much dough....

Yeah, I've tried those fuzzy ones before and didn't like them. As far as the picks in question, I've never seen them before. I'd be wary spending $10 on something that has a knack for getting lost or left behind at shows (as picks are wont to do)

And I could see that happening. Spending 10 bucks for 1 pick. Using it and finding that it is the best pick I have EVER used. Then lose it the day after...:hmm:

Maybe I shoud rethink this...lol

Seriously, I'm not trying to be a smart ass. I think a good honest review from a TB member would be cool.

I am seriously considering buying it. However, That is not a "Buy It Now" price. That $10 is just the beginning bid. Could go more than that if other people bid. Will have to wait till the last couple seconds of the auction and try and get it that way. Any more than 10 bucks, I might have to pass.
