I am Arthur, King of the Britons!@fermata who are you who is so wise in the ways of science?
Yep. That’s what they’re based on. They sound nice. Not too familiar with Lollar t bird pickups, hopefully they’re based on the ‘60s Gibsons.![]()
Uhm, no?!If I'm being honest, I think I like shopping for basses as much as I like playing them. If I'm being really honest... I think I have a problem.
(Can anyone else relate???)
I’ve dealt mostly with high-end boutique basses and made decent money on quite a few. But if I play a bass for a year and sell it for $200 less than I paid for it, I call that rent. Totally worth it if it’s a nice bass. The fact is, the vast majority of people lose money with each flip.
Dang, that’s sweet.
Actually, that’s a good call. My only beef with the fiver is that it’s passive which makes matching output with the Elrick (active) really difficult on a gig. My Sadowsky preamp pedal helps, but I normally plug direct thru a Khan tube DI, so the preamp feels a little extra.I would leave that 4-string Elrick NJS and that 1st one 5 string j-bass.
