Currently my only 5 string is a Lakland 55-01. It's a great bass, but I don't like the wide spacing. I would prefer to get a bass with a narrower spacing. Any ideas?

Thinner neck on 5 string bass

I have a Warwick FNA Jazzman 5. A lot narrower spacing. That's almost out of necessity because the neck is so chunky, that if they made the string spacing wider, it would be unplayable.

Not sure of the exact dimensions off hand by my Fender P5 has narrower string spacing up at the body end compared to my DJ5 and i know thats not the same neck as the 55-01 but its close.

Nope ... I sold all of those basses in the past ...
But Rics have a crazy slender neck for a 5 string bass ... so much that some people find them unplayable for fingerstyle.
Yes --- i should shut up - have a hunch i'm the one pushing the prices up 300% in the last year... 2 years ago you couldn't give one away.
