What, no Yamaha? No Matsumoku (Aria or Vantage)? No Peavey Cirrus? No Lakland or the other one like that? No G&L? No Pedula? You have so far to go...
It looks like you got it from Sweetwater, so you should be good to get a different one if needed. I've played some American Pro IIs that left me underwhelmed, but if you get a good one, they are wonderful. The necks feel fantastic and they sound great. Love a nice jazz bass and this one should last you a lifetime.

I feel like the problem with them is that they come from Fender not set up well at times. That P bass I showed a picture of arrived with fairly high action and needed some TLC to get it playing right. I wish Fender would be more like Music Man and ship their instruments perfectly set up right out of the box. At the end of the day guitars are like fruit in the sense that some are wonderful and ripe and others just simply are not as good. I am sure you know this, I am just saying.
One of the secrets with Ibanez 90s-00s basses (IME) is they set up very well when you spend time on them. Once I started doing my own setups, I got some smokin deals on Ibbys that just needed a setup and restring to play great. Doesn't have to be perfect, but it'll keep a lot of instruments outta the trash heap if a setup is attempted.
I have been eyeing a mid tier BB model. I wish they would make a purple model like Vincen Garcia's Yamaha BB. I would pay good money for a finish like that on a BB.

Great looking bass OP...congratulations. I started off on a Stingray in the 70's.....wish I still had it. A J bass has been my go-to since the 80's though. IMHO, they are the most versatile "tradition" bass one can get. When I was doing session work eons ago, a Jazz bass, both fretless and fretted, would usually end up getting used.
I got a TRBX605FM because of the 2 noiseless pu's and the dark green/blue translucent color. It's become my favorite 5. Great B string. I do like the BB dark brown sunburst, but the J pu isn't noise cancelling.
I recently came into possession of a distant cousin of your inbound Jazz Bass!!
I think a couple recent NBD threads already where the in transit bass never made it. I am sure you are excited but a few more daysbefore the reveal may be helpful. Congrats nevertheless.
Congrats. Can't wrong with those 3. But now you need a funky shorty hollowbody like a Hofner, or Longhorn, or Starfire, etc
