This ever happen to anyone else?

We have Amazon Alexia and we have little doubt it listens in based on ad feeds we receive. We might discuss that I need to repair a faucet and next thing you know we get a feed for bathroom fixtures . :)

A couple weeks ago, after a "few" bottles of beer, I was doing my world famous Tommy Chong impersonation ( :rollno:)........

The next morning, Cheech and Chongs Nice Dreams was listed in my Recommended Movies section of FireTV. My wife was a little freaked out by it, but I tried to convince her it was a coincidence....but now I have my doubts.

We've got Alexa too. Still learning the things she's capable of...

Some are awesome. My new favorite is, "Alexa. Add tofu to our shopping list."

It used to be, "Andrea. Add tofu to our shopping list."

Followed by...

"No. The list is in the drawer. Do it yourself!"

Don't forget Alexia tune my guitar/bass. Seriously, as good as tuning to a piano. You might have to activate the feature but if I remember correctly Alexia asks if you want activation.

All I know is this: the other day, I stood in line behind another guy at the pharmacist. I've never seen the dude before in my life. I go home, we eat dinner, afterwards I log on to Facebook. There is the guy as a 'someone you might know' reference. What?????
Could be location services. Google/FB and Android are particularly nosy, even though you can turn aspects of it "off", if you use mapping and/or route services, you'll get tagged again.
