I'm not even a huge fan of EBMM stuff, but holy moly this fingerboard...
Maybe I've been cooped up too long, but that is just beautiful.

Beautiful it is, but how does it impress the sound, but i'm sure it's fine.
I believe You, but my best fretless board is on Ibanez GWB1005They are incredible. They sound incredible and the fingerboards are amongst the best I've played, including the fretless Wal I had reconditioned by Ian back in 1988 and my current fretless StingRay which was Plek-planed and hand finished by Charlie Chandler's Guitar Experience a couple of years ago.
not dissing this board at all because it is probably one of the nicest I have ever seen, but playing fretless on that thing with all those flamed stripes... yikes.
Could also be a bonus, gives you a clear idea where you are on the neck. I think I would find it distracting. Microtonal maybe?

Maybe if it were a lined fretless but that neck is unlined so one shouldn't need to look at the neck too much.
