I have some from a few months back when we were a 5 piece (we let our piano player go)...

Note: Drew did not have in ears on the Halloween show, he now makes sure not to forget them at any shows:)

Dude,you guys Rock! I am 56yrs old and I have played every genre of music, and if you can impress an old man, you are doing something. Seriously, you guys are going places, remember what I am saying to you today. YOU GUYS HAVE SOMETHING MARKETABLE! Lead singer with nasal sound that no one seems to like, has a one of a kind recordable voice as distinct as it has to be to make it in this business.(does'nt sound like any one else). Your bass playing is spot on,I remember what every sound engineer has told me, less is best, simplicity is the truest form of art. Overall mix is great. You need to work on your stage presence, and put on a show, give them something to talk about while they are driving home. Act crazy, no one wants to watch paint dry. Above all KEEP YOUR EGOS in check! NO ONE is better than the other, it has to be a sum of all parts. BELIEVE ME I KNOW . I have been playing professionally for 25 yrs. Write as much as you can and keep cover tunes to a few, any one can play cover tunes. Your writing is your signature.If you ever get totally serious you will have to go to where the record labels are. You are young now ,perfect your craft, and with God's help you will get a break. I'm totally impressed! Watch the EGO'S.:hyper:

Pedulla-2007: Thank you so much. We take pride in rockin':) I really appreciate you taking the time and listening to the music and checking some stuff out of ours! I'm remembering what you are saying now (making a mental note;)) Our singer loves one-of-a-kind singers and I think that's where his voice comes from. I love it too:) On the note of less is best, I totally agree with that in the context of the music. For what we are playing pocket is crucial. Add color when necessary and when not just do the song justice:) I have done so many bands where each part had to be a lead line and this was a refreshing change. (Check out [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] track Tigress...band consisted of 3 of the 4 members(guitar,bass,drums) that are in The Dialogue now) In this band we were insane on stage. Full scale light show, flailing every second we could get, I would flip my basses (being only about 5'4 on a good day that is scary for my basses sake. The only one that got hurt was my 03' P, which has two replaced tuning pegs:)) Fast forward to now, we understand more how to captivate a stage. Eye contact, singing along with the crowd. Bringing a real professional image to the stage and blending that with a ton of crowd/fan interaction wins the crowd over. Also as a "new" band with the record not out yet, we teach the ending big chorus of the night to everyone with signs (it makes sense live) and make sure everyone sings before the headliner comes out. The band consists of best friends and brothers. I had an ego problem when I was in Boy Crazy (I was 17/18 playing to thousands of people, I was signed and playing huge sold out shows) This time around things are different. I've matured, learned from my mistakes and the same girl from that time stuck with me through the good and ALL THE BAD:) We are still together this time going on a year and a few months. We will be touring full time this summer. We will also be shopping the record with management in the next month so moving is not really a necessity, but I know what you mean. However, today with technology you just need to become a BUZZ band and that's what we are currently working on. Thank you again for all the advice and kind words! I truly am appreciative of everything you wrote!!

The music is OK, overall tone is great for the genre and no complaints about the bass either. HOWEVER the pitch correction (Melodyne, Autotune, whatever) in vocals sounds bad. Really bad. There's this Cher effect here and there that should be totally eliminated. I'd rather listen to unprocessed vocals with little detune than that.

WRXbase: You got it. He's 23 and has been playing since he was about 5. He has always been there to kill it for us! I can totally understand how careers and location could get in the way. We were fortunate that we started really playing and gigging together when I was about 15 and he was 17. Now I am 22 and he is 23...I'm a senior in college and he's a freshman in grad school. Fortunately we live together and our practice space is in the basement so we are able to work together on music all the time still to this day! Thank you for taking the time to listen!

atheos: Thank you so much for the compliments on the bass! I understand and will note your gripes with the Cher effect and will bring that up with our producer and the band before we OKAY the final mixes. Thanks for listening and leaving some constructive criticism! Cheers!

Some how I knew you guys knew how to put on a show, you seem wise beyond your years.I only wish I could drop a name or open a door for you. All of my bands never went anywhere because all we played was cover tunes note for note. The biggest break we ever had was the National Marlboro Talent Contest, where we came in 4th behind the group that is known as "LONESTAR" (country/western artist) out of 78 bands in our region. Look for band competitions, you guys could hold your own. Anyone that has made it has been through many negative comments. Know that you're as good if not better than anything on the radio. I know scores of people that are skilled players that never got a break, partly because they never got a break and they were ********.Stay nice , develop a thick skin, good things come to good people.(karma) Best of luck to you guys.(my wife likes the lead singer) Bitch HA!

pedulla-2007: I forgot to mention from your previous post that we do not do cover songs. The band that I was in when I was 15 was the last band that did a cover live. In Boy Crazy we would fuse a bit of AC/DC into the mix for added measure and appeal. Always went over great. I completely understand the need for certain musicians to go the cover route. Cover bands can generate great revenue, bring huge crowds, and live the "rockstar fantasy". Lonestar was great in its prime:) Congrats on placing 4th!! A feet in its own right! We just got chosen out of 80 bands to play Towson University's battle for Tigerfest. The winner open for the All American Rejects for about 2,000+ people. We also are about to do Loyola College's battle for Loyolapalooza the following Friday. If we win this one we open for Girl Talk(national DJ, great stuff, great live show) This would be in the Reitz Arena for a few thousand people as well. If we get one or both of these the PR, Marketing and Advertising will be huge and give us a great added edge in release the record! I strongly believe in karma and side with you on everything you have stated. Thank you again for the added kind words. It is greatly and truly appreciated! Thank you to your wife as well:)! very very nice! it makes me want to lie in warm grass cloud-watching

it seems very chill-out indie, nice and relaxing. your bass does sound very yummy! i got half way through "parking-lots" and thought "I know someone who would absolutely love this!"

so you've now got a friend request from me, and hopefully from her too :)

Your studio stuff is one of the few times I've clicked on a "listen to my band" link and actually listened for more than a few seconds. Good songs, nice performances. I for one am not bothered by the minor vocal artifacts. And I really like the singer's phrasing - it seems to help him stay a little behind the beat rather than on top.

But the live stuff is pretty hard to listen to. :rolleyes:

Good luck - I think you guys can go far.

You guys kinda reminds me of Hawthorne Heights meets abit of Metro Station. :smug:
