This is honestly one of the best sounding overdrive I've ever heard, like ever. Apparently he uses the Ampeg SVX plug-in.

Anyone know of any pedal which sounds similiar to this?

That Ampeg pedal is a crazy fuzz effect, and has nothing whatsoever to do with the tone in that clip. Plus it was discontinued years ago.

I'm trying to pull it off with a Pork Loin but it's too warm for that.

You could probably try one at a Guitar Center. I had one, I didn't like it, then I sort of liked it, then it crapped out on me. It wasn't new, I used it for one gig, and I bought it as a place holder for better stuff. I was so lucky, it was a Deluxe, and when it showed up, channel 2 was kind of funny, it made it through the gig, then it went crazy, no functionality. The guy I bought it from offered to take it back and refund my money. I was super grateful, gotta love TB. He has sent it back to Tech 21.
Anyways, it is a good pedal but not great IMO. Others love it and swear by it. It does have a lot of range of sound.

Anyone know if they could cop this on a Line 6 M9/M5? I just picked up an M5 to fill the last spot on my board and it'd be great if I could get a nice overdrive like this.
