What does a set of strings run for that bad boy?

Probably not much for him. Chris Cardone is the owner/(part owner) of the Circle K string company (now called "Kalium" string company).

I think the bass is tuned Low F# and up in forths; with octave strings for each bass string. I'm not completely sure, but I think the high F string might be in unison with the other two "octave" strings.

This is a bass built by Oscar Prat. Oscar has also built a 15 string (triple 5) for Jauqo III-X and an 18 string (triple 6) for Scott Fernandez. Scott's 18 string bass was part of the inspiration for Chris having a 24 string instrument built.

The video posted above was taken at the Circle K (Kalium) string booth at NAMM. If you watch parts of the video you can see Scott Fernandez's 12 string bass on the far left.

The bass is 33" scale and it's tuned F# B E A D G C F - standard 4ths from F# with each standard string having two strings an octave up.
