It's not cancelled here. Though, I haven't heard about many gigs, or musical jobs for Halloween. Even the AustinCityLimits festival, is doing a 'virtual' streaming version. Which is actually re-runs of pre-recorded acts from years past.
The one great thing I've noticed is a LOT of professional 'Haunted Attractions' are opening as drive-thru versions. Plus, theme parks are extending hours and implementing social distancing. Around here, the pumpkin patch / corn maze farms are using social distancing to keep open. They're all hiring seasonal employees. I just wish they were hiring bands.

My daughter's boyfriend's brother works at an amusement park that does an October "Screamfest." I assume they had some sort of policies in place to prevent virus spread, but he's now tested positive. Haven't heard if he's had actual symptoms (my schoolteacher daughter did, or seemed to, but she tested negative).

our city is having trick or treat, but recommend that candy be put out in small bags spaced apart for kids to grab without touching any other person or bag of candy. all adult parties are a no go, just the event for kids.

We usually decorate our home, though this year, because of the lack of gigs and/or parties, we also decorated our bathroom.
