I bought a set of Jazz Flats for my Jazz bass. They will never come off. I got a new Ray34 and was looking for something a touch different so I bought a set of Jazz Rounds. Good Lord, these things are in a class by themselves. I did have to adjust the truss rod and action to get rid of some buzzing but once the adjustments were done, I can fret a note just by breathing on it with perfect clarity and no buzz. The force required to fret a note is like nothing I have ever played before. Just lay your finger on the string and presto, a note is fretted. I did have to adjust to a light touch when playing. But when I did, no fret buzz, great booming notes, and effortless playability were my rewards. And believe it or not, when using a light thumb action, they actually slap well and sound great. Now, just got to justify the cost to replace strings on other basses I have although the TI flats will stay on the Jazz bass forever.
