Thumb pick for metal bass

Hey there!

I'm a pick player, but there are some parts in our songs that are slap bass. I usually played with a hybrid picking style, somewhat like Clay Gober.

I tried a thumbpick so that my pointing thinger would be free at that parts and it is easier to play the slapping parts. altouth the traditional picking parts feel a bit weird becuase there isn't as much pick material between my fingers.
I tried theese: DUNLOP SHELL MEDIUM THUMBPICKS

I also found one that combines traditional flat picks and thumb picks. Has anyone tried one of theese?

Sadly there aren't any available in ultex material.

I've also found one of theese, where you can put in your pick of choice. Any experiences with theese?

Also if you know any kind of picks wich combine flat and thumb picks please let me know
