thunderbird bridge height

Did you check if the neck is straight on it?. its often a combination of neck relief and the bridge.
yes i'm adjusting my truss rod 1/4 of a turn per day during 2 weeks already, it's not completely staright yet as i see it, but it's more comfortable to play, i would say it's almost perfect for me, i think i just need to tighten my truss rod a bit more, but still i just wanna see waht bridge height most of the people use for t-birds without the fret buzz!
oh and one more question i guess it's ok to tighten the truss rod 1/4 of a turn per day?

As long as you never overdo it. Remember to never force anything on a truss rod as it could really mess up your neck. I had to adjust the truss on my new vm squier and i just did it untill it was fine and felt right. there should be loads of threads on here for tips on that though. My bridge on my tbird is pretty low and there are no buzz problems.
Yeah it looks curved. If your not really confident of doing this yourself my advice would be to take it to a pro for him to set up. Thats kinda like how my vm squier was when i got it. is that a gibson or epi bird?

well i'm adjusting truss rod myself - i'm doin it already for 2 weeks - 1/4 of allen wrench turn per day - i don't force anything, i mean the truss rod is turning quite easily when i tighten it--do you think i do everything properly?
i think i need some more turns in order to tighten the truss rod for the neck to become almost straight--is it ok for instance if i continue tightening the truss rod as i did it for 2 weeks already (1/4 of a turn per day)
oh and the reason why i'm doin it myself, i always wanted to feel the instrument and be able to solve any problem by myself, that's why i wanna learn how to set up the bass without taking it to a pro
Have a read at Jezy Drozd's new bass set-up guide. 1/4 a day is being extremely conservative, you're not going to break anything by turning it more as long as you don't force anything. Get to the profile you want and then you may need a 1/4 turn either way to fine tune/

I found out the deflection of my TBird's neck changed a lot after changing string type (tension). I had my shop tune it with Roto 66's and when I changed to dA flats it change quite a bit. According to what I've read there should be some curve to the neck.

i've never had to go as long as two weeks go get one of my necks straightened out. a few days at most. i was lucky when i got my epi goth that it was near enough perfect out of the box but i suppose if you don't force things and take it easy nothing bad should happen!

yeah i agree i also read that neck has to be curved a bit, but i guess my curvature is too much -

so you think 1/4 of a turn per day is ok? or should i do somethin like half a turn - i've read somewhere on these forums that t-bird truss rod is pretty resistant

when i put my bass in a case--should i loosen the strings in order to preserve the neck? (i'm asking coz couldn't find any info on this topic)
oh and i almost forgot - when i adjust truss rod i loosen the strings pretty much, is it ok for instance to adjust truss rod with the strings tighten?
If you haven't been here, try this. This is the site I learned to do my first adjustment. Since my TBird is a Gibson I figured they'd know best.

I'd say try a couple of half turns and leave it for a couple of hours and come back and check if theres any difference. The general idea of the truss rod is to resist against the strings tension to keep the neck somewhat straight. Like, the truss rod pulls one way and the strings pull the other way, that way it balances out, this along with the way you have the bridge set up affects the playability of the bass. So i'd keep it in tune when its in its case.
