The Nikki Sixx signature series of Dean Markley's are perfect for 'Birds. I bought a set, not expecting much out of them. But wow, they are insane! Can't imagine switching to a different brand.

two part question: what do you use to clean your TBirds with? polish etc.
and if you own one of these

I just use Gibson pump polish. Best Buy was having a sale, selling the polish for $3.50 a piece. I think it works fine.

Use by hand with a cotton terry cloth or tee shirt. Cleans and polishes everything, including metal and plastic. Safe on clear coats. I use it on all the basses I own or build no matter what the finish, poly or nitro, new or vintage. Costs around $10 for 16 ounces, probably a lifetime supply. Smells great.

Companies that make basses don't make polish, they buy it from somebody who puts "Gibson" or whatever on it and then sell it for way more than it's worth.

Try lemon oil on the Epi body, same stuff you use on rosewood or ebony fretboards.

that Epiphone thunderbird IV Pro has a natural Oil finish i dont think its a good idea, or is it save?

'06 Gibson T-bird:

end of neck to the center of the neck pup = 3 and 3/8"

distance between pups, center to center = 4 and 5/16"

pups are 1 and 5/8" x 3 and 11/16"
