A friend is learning guitar. She has a similar geometric issue with a guitar's upper bout as that tele player. She uses a longer strap. Or did. She may have decided to wander off in a different direction. She's a little flakey at times.

you forgot to mention that the higher gain construction of the X7 makes it more prone to shock damage than the U7 when dropping from roofs...

According to the late Pete Traynor, after dropping from the roof, all the glass needed to be replaced. But could then be placed right back into service.

The new ones use clear acrylic to prevent that.

That would be an awful shame. A Firebird is a far better solution. Provided she's still working on it. I'm fairly sure she's onto whatever is next. She doesn't have the worlds longest attention span. She would fit right in with us here.

Dude, your head's on backwards...upside down...

I paid $300 in 1975 for that head and 215m cabinet. If the head is working well, it is worth more than the $400 by itself.
