Thunderbird Club

I always go out of EWR these days.
Can't stand JFK, never mind LGA.
I hate all three. But my experience has me hating Newark most and LaGuardia the least. Driven in part probably by familiarity - knowing the quirks and way around (physically, logistically, and spiritually) of each.

But the most miserable airport on the east cost is Boston Logan. Apologies to anyone who likes BOS unless you are a Bruins fan..

My appreciation of opera stemmed from Bugs Bunny...

I did some work for a music professor associated with the local symphony. She asked if I knew any classical music. I told her that I knew a bit, but it was learned from cartoons. She admitted that many people develop their appreciation of opera and classical music the same way.

And then there was Richie Blackmore...

I come to classical and opera from rock n roll and silliness fundamentals.

"I'm gonna get that wabbit if it's the last thing I do!!!"

heck, they shut down LG for an inch of snow…..pretty lame…
I've never been cancelled at LGA for snow (delayed but not cancelled). Thunderstorms on the other hand have caused me no end of problems at LGA.

As for lame - 17 from Santa Cruz to San Jose gets closed for a dusting of snow! Californians can't drive in snow...

One of my favorite albums from the mid 70s...but doesn't have that song.

Ha!!! Kinda ironic in a way.
But I get it.

Got stuck for a weekend in New Jersey because of an inch of snow that closed Newark. All because the client decided to drone on past 4pm in some useless conversation.

Ok, truth be told. One of my cousins is like 7 minutes from Newark.
(I still can’t stand JFK or LGA)

So I have an out if a flight gets cancelled, or I don’t wanna be stranded at some dang airport.
