Thunderbird Club

For some reason I’m not seeing any pics you post.

Never been a huge fan of the Ric look with all the busy work on top (large pick guard, huge toaster pup, massive bridge and tail piece) but I do like the looks of that blonde (Cheyenne?) you have there. It just looks more sleek and less clunky than a normal Ric.

Ok, I’ll also concede that the walnut Ric with the two toasters looks great also. It has a muscular look, again not clunky. What model is that? Is it stock?

Playing bass in the buff again? That might explain the “rash” on the back of your bass. I think they make a pill for that.

White, Tbird shaped and a Greco for the Trifecta!

As far as I know it's the only fretless 4004 Ric, it's a cii.

The other one is a 4003AC, limited run of 420, may end up a run of 419 after I pull the frets and paint it.

The pill just made the geetar stick out farther..

It ain't Thursday but my old, chromed out '96 is on its way home. It'll be nice to have it again. Its last owner was a good man, and I'll be happy to have something to remind me of him.

I love ebony Thunderbirds.

I’m confused, I thought it was White Wednesday. But Ebony works for me too…
Would you like one pup or two…

Or maybe a pair of evil twins…

Or even some six string humbucking fun…

(this one’s for sale if any ones interested)

I see that the screw holding the strap pin in the upper horn is shorter than the one in the end...
I thought the same think, but wondered if it wasn't that the coffee just ran out.

To see truss rod depth, you need a sagittal view (or lateral depending up which way "up" is).
I just liked how the truss rod looked like it it was bent, or had that disease that's discussed in commercials during sports programs....

I saw Bo in concert in the mid '80s. Fantastic. Put many groups to shame who had to rely on smoke and explosions. Even got to talk with him before the show as he was standing outside. People thought he was a security guard and kept asking for directions as we talked. Got his autograph.

Never had the pleasure of meeting or seeing him, would have been worth more than $50
