"Nopar?"I doubt they’re going to be focusing on performance vehicles these days. Probably going to make the push to electric soon.
How about improved spontaneous combustion proofing?there are already after market improved magnets and controllers for electric cars…
Headstock repair and a re shot neck. This seller is always on the optimistic side of pricing.10k!….
doesn’t even have the OHSC…
No idea.Is that a VP issue or specific to yours?
But how do the strings balance, volume-wise?Interesting. Your A string saddle looks like it is in fact sitting higher than it should.
Here’s a pic of my VP bridge for reference, all strings sound pretty well balanced in mine…

yes, the A string saddle is a tad higher than the rest but just barely, not a lot. At the end of the day the bottoms of the D and A strings should sit about the same distance off the frets.
It would have to be a replacement bridge. The nuts are permanently afixed to the bolts so the saddles cannot be removed. Someone here tested thst once. Thankfully Epi sent them a replacement bridge when the bolt snapped. If yours don’t, do as @JIO suggested and check your nut first. If it’s ok then carefully file the A string saddle a little bit at a time to get it where you want it. This will unfortunately take the chrome off at the groove and expose brass plating and whatever the base metal is. Alternatively, you might be able to get a replacement saddle from Epiphone.

But how do the strings balance, volume-wise?Mine looks pretty much just like that. A & D just a bit higher to account for fretboard radius:

My Vintage Pro from the tail POV.
And the synth looming in the background is the Yamaha CS-01. I just got it back from repair and I have to say I had forgotten how good it sounds. Looks like a toy but when you plug it into a PA or soundcard it really shows it fangs (or teeth or claws). Did a little demo, ran it thru the pedalboard just for a little stereo delay. OK, quite a lot delay.
10k!….

We had the orange. As cool as one of those would be for cruising in the left lane 10kph under the limit, I would prefer one of these:

And I think yellow would be the preferred colour.
But this would be a close second.

), and I've not noticed anything unusual.
The volume balance across my VP strings is good. If anything the E is a bit boomy with some strings but not with others. But how do the strings balance, volume-wise?

That may not have been the transmission so much as the whopping 50BHP the engine (claimed) to produce...My Dad had one of the earlier version. He described the gears as creep, crawl, walk, and trot. Never 'ran'.
