¡qué lástima! But you can vent all you want here. Everyone has baggage of some sort and we are good listeners even if our playing indicates we are tone deaf. No, she liked to try to shame me for wanting to play and be a normal kid. She often would take away my Playstation 1 or the 2 without any reason, I was never a problematic kid, never gave any troubles, my teachers always commended that I was one of the most polite and well-behaved kids on the classrooms. Of course that never was enough for my mother, she loved comparing me to my oldest sister and I always came up short and leaving something to be desired in her opinion. Always made me feel small and insignificant, suffice to say we've never had a good relationship. (Sorry about that, didn't meant to offload)
Clean up if you mustI was here before
But under less happy terms
Doing some cleanup
I was waiting for another round of motorcycle talk...Clean up if you must
We’re a meandering lot
Please don’t drop a Zot!
I can remedy that with cars instead: Thoughts on Buick Electra Park Avenue? Model below is from 1983I was waiting for another round of motorcycle talk...
Rough translation…¡qué lástima!

Unfortunately a lot of people carry some weird baggage (parents included). In fact, most everyone carries some. Try to keep a logical and balanced perspective and don't let all that junk define you, and always learn from others mistakes. Not that any of this is easy, it's just that life is more difficult if we don't. Hang in there! No, she liked to try to shame me for wanting to play and be a normal kid. Its just sad when a child at such young age realizes; No matter whatever I do, she'll never be happy, she'll never accept me for who I am, then in my teens I was forcibly outed before I was ready, the years after were less than pleasant, to put it mildly.Unfortunately a lot of people carry some weird baggage (parents included). Not my favorite color, but I liked those cars. My cousin had the Oldsmobile version. Shoot, I'd considering buying one for the right price. They rode like a real car.I can remedy that with cars instead: Thoughts on Buick Electra Park Avenue? Model below is from 1983

Could you post the picture and model of the Olds? I don't know a lot about american cars. I usually don't like burgundy, but it does look good imo on that one.Not my favorite color, but I liked those cars. My cousin had the Oldsmobile version. Should be able to fit most of your gear in that car. The question is, will it make it to the gig without breaking down?I can remedy that with cars instead: Thoughts on Buick Electra Park Avenue? Model below is from 1983

We can talk motorcycles…
Anyone here ever carry their Tbird or another bass to a gig or practice on their scooter or motorcycle? With the right gig bag it could be easily done, but I’ve never tried it. Pics?
I don't know, I do like the aesthetics of that model, would a 70's model be better?Should be able to fit most of your gear in that car. The question is, will it make it to the gig without breaking down?
The early 80’s were not particularly good years for reliable American made cars. My ex Father-in-law had an 82 Electra and it had more vertical miles on it from the maintenance shop lift than horizontal miles from driving.

Like what? Nothing is showing. But if I were going to buy a real big boy car. It might look something like this...
See above. Pics didn't take the first time.Like what? Nothing is showing.
Now that I’d love to see! The Monster is such a cool bike, and appropriately named. Not sure how you get a combo amp on a Ducati along with a Jag. On a Golden Wing yes, a Ducati? Wow!Jag SS and practice amp on a Ducati Monster. No pics.
Both look good, the one above would look better in other colors, red for example or racing green.View attachment 4780829
