So I did a thing with my T-Bird,, Anyone else replace the 3 point bridge on their Bird? I also moved the controls to the right place.
Hipshot replacement,, My string action and height went from 8/64th's with the stock bridge decked to 5/64th's with the new hipshot bridge,, Best playing bass I own.. Great upgrade.. View attachment 4784653

I haven't replaced the 3 point on my NR yet.

YET.

I have replaced all my other 3 point bridges and I will on my NR. It is a matter of preference. There is nothing wrong with the 3 point, but I like the Hipshot and I like having everything standardized.

yep, as long as it doesn’t yank on the inserts too bad, definitely an upgrade….

I only replaced the one on the non reverse because I ran out of adjustment on the stock bridge, It came from Gibson set up horrible with no more adjustment, Now she plays fabulous. The bridge came all the way to the deck, Now she's perfect .. still have the three point on my Cassady without any issues it adjust fine just my preference on this Bird.. ..

Like the 50 50 bar look. Maybe you all called it something different. Another version of the soda vs pop wars.
I’m guessing the “creamsicle” you’re holding in your hands. Those, bombsicles (red white and blue fluted popsicle) and drumsticks were everyone’s favorites when the popsicle truck came by.

$29.00 from OC, now John Wayne, to San Jose or SFO/OAK. It was like riding a bus. You got on, took a seat and the flight attendant came by, took your money or used a credit card slider the old fashioned way. A kinder, gentler way to travel compared to all the hassles today. Air Cal (remember them?) was the same. I loved 707s/727s.
