Oh man. I am not saying any more about the subject. Too many competitors here for one.
I'm a lucky guy, all basses, amps etc. look the same to her, as long as I can sneak it in the house I'm in like Flynn.

A) Unlikely I'll be getting a 2021-or any other new(to me, anyway)bass. (2).I'm very much a creature of habit*. Change and I don't get along. You never know. You just might like the change. I'll get off your lawn now Mike.
Beautiful score! I think I can speak for the group and say "you're in." Please give us the scoop on it and the others! "Prettier than a puppy under a red wagon.'" I'm going to borrow that one from you if you don't mind.So….My recent purchase arrived today from the land of the "Rising Sun". Very Cool! Was worth the wait. A 04' I believe. Just drop dead Gorgeous! Came with a really nice Ritter gig bag, which is currently being aired out in the Mega Sun of the Eastern Slopes of the Cascades. Bought a real deal USA case here in the states for "Ivory". Doesn't this look just prettier than a "Puppy under a Red Wagon". Nice cream color now, excuse the basement lighting. Great neck, plays like a dream! I have two more coming in shortly, another from "Rising Sun" land, and one from even farther away. After all the deals go down I will formally apply for club membership. As always, best to all!View attachment 4800846
I will get a Greco II like the one George has. The only Tbird that blew me away more was Veronica's with the Lulls.
@MCF Mind PMing that address. I used to know people who did things....LOL - you're the only club member that knows my home address. If my Greco II ever goes missing I'll know exactly where to look.
…and since it's Thunderbird Thursday I'll flip this bird at you…

I think that's a fair assessment of Kath. He certainly had his own approach and style to guitar playing vs let's say Hendrix. No offense. But IMO option he was a fabulous player.
After he moves this side of the Mississippi, your dibs claim is rendered null.If you ever want to sell it, I've got first dibs.
Looking good Jeff!
Congratulations. Looks great! So….My recent purchase arrived today from the land of the "Rising Sun". Very Cool! Was worth the wait. A 04' I believe. Just drop dead Gorgeous! Well...The version with the TBird sounds much better...but it's still a POS. IMNSHO.Always figured it was an Octaver...
I'm sworn to secrecy. I'll never talk. But if you send me your '64, I might leave the iPad open with it exposed and leave the room.@MCF Mind PMing that address. I used to know people who did things....![]()
Be careful there Donnie, I STILL know people who do things, specifically in Kentucky.@MCF Mind PMing that address. I used to know people who did things....![]()

It's one of your other hobbies that is concerning with respect to any attempted removal of said instrument.Be careful there Donnie, I STILL know people who do things, specifically in Kentucky.![]()

IMO either one could play the others music if needed. The big difference I see between the two is JH is more fluid and smooth in his playing style whereas Kath is rather herky jerky. JH caresses his guitar, Kath mugs his.
Both sound great and we're top players in their day, but when all is said and done, I can listen to an entire album with Kath playing, while I struggle to get more than a few songs into any Hendrix album before I've had enough.
Kath…

Hey, if I have to listen to that song (which I'm not fond of) I might as well make it a bit more interesting…Well...The version with the TBird sounds much better...but it's still a POS. IMNSHO.
Unfortunately we can't talk about that hobby anymore. I even had to scrub it from my profile pageIt's one of your other hobbies that is concerning with respect to any attempted removal of said instrument.![]()

But it's still a hobby, and I'm significantly better at it than bass playing.![]()
