And to you as well!I'm off to load in for our show tonight - sound check @ 7:00pm PST, show @ 9:10.
Best wishes to all you fine Thunderbird folks, have a safe, happy evening and a joyous 2017
Sounds like a Rumble 500 might suit you @rumblejunkieThanks for the info regards the amps folks . Id read a while back that the PF class D had some issues in the 350 and 500 models but it seems to be resolved now . Although Ive bought many things pre owned , I think in this instance it will be a new amp I go for so full warranty would be there for insurance . The combo Im using just now has been pretty decent and not let me down yet . But its around 60ibs with a 1x12 180 watts , its loud enough to compete with our drummer and two guitars and vocal easily . Its just that Id like a bit more headroom and lighter weight lol .
Hey epi guys, if anyone wants to upgrade their pickups (regular epi shape) I just pulled a pair out of my tokai. I think they have a good old school type sound, much better than stock. Pay for shipping and their yours

Strange dream last night.
I dreamt that I spotted an Epi Firebird guitar for $180 on gumtree... and was mulling over whether to buy it for my daughter or get it for myself as a learner guitar (I can't play a thing on those pissy little strings) and to make a set with the Goth.
I don't even know if Epi ever made a Firebird LOL
+1 on the TC heads. They offer a lot of value in terms of all the bells and whistles @Kat888 notes above. I do not gig with mine but I especially like it for practice (headphone jack) and recording. It is one of their smaller heads (250w) in a 2 x 8 combo with line out for an external cab. With the external cab, it can keep up with a guitar (15w 1 x 12) and LOUD drummer in practice jam. I think that there is at least one Tbird Club member that does gig with his.And another thing ... all the TC kit I've tried, I really like. If you're not a valve snob (like me) you should take a really serious look at the TC heads, as they have lots of innovative features depending on the model - built in tuners, compression, tone prints, presets. Some people sniff at them because of their 'rubbery' output figures, but numbers don't really tell you that much anyway.
Well I never. Ok - I suppose I should set up a gumtree search now.
