Thunderbird Club

I remember something about that from my bmx freestyle days! 87 gt pro performer!
Yeah man! GT! I rode freestyle after I skated (in middle school). Wasn't super great, so I ended up photographing. Shot people like Dave Voelker who rode for Dyno, The Real McCoy, etc.
Was even published in BMX Magazine.

Rat Bones is a throwback to those days when I had to replace my shoes every few months from the grip tape wearing through them.

Check it out, 87 gt I built for my son! Us bass players ain't totally useless!

These are the things that most convince me that key doesn't matter. I used to do this regularly with songs I wrote with a particular female singer. Her voice always sounded better if we sped the tape up and effectively transposed everything up a semitone.

Nowadays, when I play along to thing on the radio/TV I quite often find songs where I'm convinced that the same thingh has been done - instruments recorded in one key and then "shifted" to fit the vocalsm which are a seme-tone or less "out".
None of that crap! $225 for powder coating!! No guard, reflectors, lid or other lameness. Just ride n roll

Well the brown truck left me a present yesterday , here are a few crappy cell pics of my trans black T-bird pro. I will try to get some gig pics this weekend . The bass and case could both pass for new.
It was a coin flip for me whether I'd get the Pro IV in the natural oil stain or the trans black. I chose the natural but the black looks great. If only they had it with the red thunderbird on the pickguard I might've bought the trans black. Never knew I could find one on the internet…though I should've known.
Are you going to change strings or are you happy with the ones on it now?

Its like nothing I have ever played before , gonna take some getting used to . I bet I adjusted the strap 10 times before I got to a position I was comfortable with. I has to be slung low to work for me . It came with a good strap and strap locks , that was a nice , set up and intonation are pretty good. My spector and Pbass are my main players in that order , but I think this will be a nice change of pace every once in a while . Dye my hair jet black put on some eye liner and get my goth on.

Hey jd56hawk, Bought it off ebay used from a music store , The guy there said he put a new set on it . I'm gonna call to see what they are . I just put boomers on my old 79 Ibanez but Roto 66 is my fave , thats what the bird will get next. 45-105

Doweling process started and complete. 1/2 diameter dome dowels. now wood filler to fill the little gap left Then it's black stain/paint and possibly a whole gloss body afterwards. Once again, i can't wait to start playing her again. It always seems there's something other that i must do to her, which takes her out of the spotlight for a while. Oh well, another week of work on her, more or less, afterwards she'll be finished until i get the gotoh tuners for her (stock ones are pretty much shot)
