Thunderbird Club

A cool documentary on one of the best-known (and deservedly popular) albums around by one of the best groups at the time. Lots of good insights into everything from song writing to making a record to surviving as a band.

It also reminds me that I would happily pay (as I'm sure a lot of other musicians would) for a service that let you access all the tracks of your favorite albums (many are long gone, others are closely held, yada yada).

If you knew her, it would be even funnier. She is a rather large individual, and that doesn't faze her a bit. Because she has a fairly low register voice and her name was Amanda, she referred to herself as A man, duh! Discussions would always turn raunchy during band practices, too. The upright has f-holes. That was always a source of amusement and Ahem worthy commentary.

All driven by a power amp that's two power sections from a 370 bass amp. Yeah, this moron has that whole stack of stuff for PA duty. If you ever need to be heard on the moon, give me a call.

Why am I suddenly drooling so much?

Why am I suddenly drooling so much?
Because you have a very large garage to store things in and a truck to haul them. And roadies. Lots of roadies. I use a refrigerator hand truck to move the big cabinets. The amp is in a cabinet I built that holds it and a mixer and a monitor amp. Nothing exceeds like excess.

The balls are shy, but they're rockin'. Happy TT.

Is that a family business?

Yes it is a family business, they're from Portland, OR and it's actually about 3rd or 4th largest seller of lighting in the U.S.
