Thunderbird Club

Uuuggghhh I know I should keep my mouth shut but I just can't help myself. Y'all know the disdain I have for the pickguard on some Ernie Ball Basses. This hands down has to be one of the ugliest bass guitars ever !!! I don't care how great it sounds . Apologies in advance for any owners thereof

I agree, that's an ugly toilet seat...

I'm old, retired, and bored. Plus the hockey game(Lightning) just ended.
BTW, the hotel in the background is The "Fontainebleau"-scene of the card game in "Goldfinger".
ADDENDUM: If you were to ask how to get to the hotel, and pronounced it correctly, people would look at you funny. Around Miami, it's pronounced "Fountain-blow".

I would, but I’m about to get another Tbird…
Clearly you have unresolved issues that presents as a Thunderbird obsession. I've heard of such a thing, but you are the first person I've noticed that has all the classic indicators according to the DSM V.

Never mind, I forgot myself and where I was..... Carry Buy on!

Firing up the balls for a TT band practice tonight.

I would think the tug bar would sound fuller if installed and unused, that’s how I plan to use mine if installed. That way it is free to resonate with the rest of the bass. If used, I suspect it would be a lot like palm muting the strings, your fingers on the tug bar would in essence mute the effect.
If you install a tug bar and a thumb rest..would they cancel each other out?

We transcribe where needed - very few songs played in the original key. Cherie is tall and has a deep voice. Not sure where it resides, but it ain't alto.
Looking at the set list I figured she sure isn't a soprano. I played with a singer who had a lower range, and it was fun to do harmonies above her at times. We would trade "boy" and "girl" parts back and forth.
