"Mild" Arthritis in both hips. Screw that, I'm fighting this mother. Tai Chi, back to Kung Fu on Sundays. I'm only 55... and I have a lot of music to play, etc. At least it's not in my hands. Life is still good.

Good deal on the road crew! Those damned drummers! By logical extension, shouldn't the entire rhythm section be elevated?
It's funny, our drummer does the least amount of work. He had a tech. Me, I had a tech til he scratches my new Spector. We have so much to do, then, afterthought,maybe I should get my basses out and set up MY rig lol. Literally the last thing I doGood deal on the road crew! Those damned drummers! Well i'm really behind on my reading, so i'll catch up tonight once i'm back home. But here's a quick update on stuff:
My drummer is moving into my city!! Well on the Montreal island since he's in the south shore. After these last 3 crazy years of messed up events in his life, it'll be a great beginning to something great! Also, his former metal sludge band stole his drum throne so i bought him a new one tonight (the guitarist chipped in half) along with a cowbell holder (crucial to every piece of music writing
). Since he's left that band this week, & they're changing locks & being complete dicks, well we're moving rehearsal spaces that's very close for all of us & bigger for holding two bands worth of gear + a sofa.
In other news, my builds are on hold til February since this month has been much planning, & focusing on the smaller projects. Which means my pedal board is going to be complete at the end of the month. So my birds along with other projects will resume end of this month to be completed in the following months.

I'm lucky. My drummer is probably the most dedicated person in my bands.
I was referring to epiphone bolt on standards and goths pretty much.
Right now my gas list is low budget, another epiphone bird and/or 80s-90s USA peavey fury, to replace one I sold about 20 years ago. Replied to an ad for a good deal on a fury last night, but no reply yet. Post was 5-6 days old, probably sold and they just never took it down.

Peavey Furrys get listed in Denver fairly regular
$100-150, but don't want one bad enough to deal with shipping, and it is a cheap enough bass for me to only want to buy after checking it out in person. They are both not super consistent, and cheap enough to where previous owners don't exactly baby them. I'm in so cal

People really like it. No offense at all to any band out there, I've done cover band and original stuff all my life but I've found people really want something more and they want to be entertained. Hard to pull off on smaller scale but they do love it.

Vinegar and spices mean you don't need either one. I do Carolina barbecue, more or less. Nothing Asian about it. It's all Appalachian. I'm not a big fan of barbecue styles that use a heavy tomato or brown sugar sauce or glaze. If it makes your head sweat, it's probably about right when it comes to spicy.
