All this talk of food ... have the Edwins on for the first time in a month and I can feel the extent of my indiscipline during the Christmas period.
I haven't ever had anything in the smoker that long. Nothing sweet ever goes into any kind of barbecue, smoked meat, or anything like that. As a bitter, sour person, I don't like sugar.
A pinch of sugar means you can reduce the salt. All a matter of balancing sweet, sour, salt, bitter and spicy - I do SE Asian and Cantonese or Shanghainese mainly.
I'll look at it over the weekend and yes all strings buzzing ... and not the deliberate fret buzz of my Ric years
With 2 fake ass cabs in middle with lights. I have logo scrims that go on middle 2 with floor lights that shine on them. Have 2 heads, need 2 more prop heads,can't seem to find.
Build them? How's your carpentey these days.

So tonights rehearsal went well , NOT ! Its the first weve had in four weeks and the rythm guitarist and drummer failed to show . That left me the singer and lead guitar player . Weve been pissed at the drummer for ages as he keeps cancelling and hes not putting in the work that the rest of us are . Next week is ultimatum time . They either start being more commited or were moving on without them . Sorry to vent , just one of them nights . On the plus side , we were tight , even without the drums and rythm strummer .
Get the lead guitarist a looper. Then at least lead and rhythm should be in tune with one another.
The biggest issue is the lack of effort put in . The two guitars work well together and no issues with tuning . Were all putting in the effort apart from those two .
Dude, Rush and Cream only needed 3. Tell singer to drum, problem solved!
Tired of building? When I look at those four cabs, I think you would be tired of lifting!!
I hope you have some of those strapping Midwestern lads to schlep those in and out of gigs for you.
I have a drummer friend in Toronto and he has issues with the aesthetics of singing drummers. Reckons it looks all wrong.
Well, we have 3 or 4 crew guys but I have a trailer so they roll on and off. The REAL work is the 8x8 2 piece aluminum drum riser we use at times. Now THAT is heavy but I'm a big guy, it's good or ya.Tired of building? When I look at those four cabs, I think you would be tired of lifting!!
