Thunderbird Club

That's about the only J I would ever play. Mostly because it's the right color. I'm shallow that way.

I always dig a good J.
With my usual mod/s.
Doesn’t mean it has to be a 7ender.

Good afternoon Thunderbird loving sisters and brothers. I have been away for a bit and am glad to be back. Thought I would post a couple of pics from our recent gig for fender Friday. Annual fundraiser we play for the Friendly Sons of St Patrick. Great crowd and great folks. I had the P for the 5 string songs, and brought the NR for the others. Sound on stage was an issue all night, and I was glad I brought a mish mash of gear. First time trying new (to me) Schroeder cab. Great sound, but heavier than expected and an abrasive, stucco like finish. I haven't decided if I should keep it or not. Great fun nonetheless and always fun to play out. Have a great weekend folks.
Border! Missed you. I know what it’s like. Have a great weekend!

Great report and glad you stopped in.

Well I’ll be a dirty bird! There are a lot of our club members there. Guess that says something about the kind of people in this club, and probably the sheer volume of posts here vs other clubs.
Who knows, in the next dozen years TalkBass (TB) may need to rebrand itself to ThunderbirdBass (TB). :D

There are very few threads on tb I visit; Basses [BG], and Luthiers Corner are pretty much it. Other than a couple personal (private) threads.

You came up with and recorded that in one day? You have talent my friend. A lot of talent. And the bass sounds awesome.
Thanks dude, wanna see the bass in question?

Meet the Monster.

Made it from a piece of construction lumber I bought at a local hardware store, the Pickup comes from a Fender Sting Signature bass and the dead strings give it this really cool "OOMPH".
