Made it from a piece of construction lumber I bought at a local hardware store, the Pickup comes from a Fender Sting Signature bass and the dead strings give it this really cool "OOMPH".

Love it! :thumbsup: Proves once again it's not always what is being played - but how it's being played. The ideal location of the pu installed is also key to a great bass sound. :bassist:

You really don't see those Fender Long horns all that much.

:) Thanks! I love my A/S J - even before I modded it. They are usually affordable when they come up for sale as hard-core (read; conservative) Fender-fanboys hate it.

This is my 1989 Squier Strat "The Veteran", which I bought new in 1991 on my 15'th birthday. And although you wouldn't be able to tell at first glance, I modified the tar out of her. In fact, the only remaining original part is her body.
