Thunderbird Club

Does Cherie get hit on at shows? What about the rest of y'all?
I played with a singer who was built like an Art Deco hood ornament and whose face looked like Louise Brooks or Bette Paige, depending on how long her hair was at the time. She attracted a lot of attention, not all of it good. I ended up escorting her out of places more than once after a show. She didn't have a car, so I was almost always her transportation, so it worked out fine anyway. Fortunately, nothing every went truly sideways.

Felix played bass on that tune on Goodbye Cream, actually I'm not sure if he used his own bass or Jack's, but I assume his own, I think that was when the band was breaking up and Felix (Edit, Jack) had either already left or was not available that day so he played that tune with them, he played Mellotron and keys for some of their tunes too and produced their last two or three albums, Felix was something, very talented guy.

And sorely missed then and now.

Clearly I have yet to master the concept of a glamour shot. Nevertheless, WBW!!!

A bit under the weather for the past 24...........

The back side is white, like the tone of this bass much better with Gibson pickups, currently has Ken Smith Rockmaster stainless on it and I'm liking its tone quite a lot. It has a nice lo midrange bump that becomes most present as you back off the bridge pickup a bit, neck still feels quite a bit bigger than my '76s and '64 though.
