Coors Light? Come now. At least Jeff is showing some class with that 805.

Wasn't mine, I don't drink much beer at all, when I do it's not Coors or any corporate stuff, Seattle is a good beer town.

I don't remember what I was drinking here, (this was in Capitola earlier the same day) but it was def not Coors.

I 'fell in love' with P1800s long before I ever saw "The Saint"(in reruns).

It truly is beautiful car. The issue was lack of sales and that several were made in England, not Gothenburg. The English cars were not as well built.

The 1800es was also a beautiful car. It fell victim to US bumper laws in ‘74.

I would love to see an updated P1800. Who knows. But Volvo is not the company it was before the sale to Ford. The current owner, Geely Motors of China, is not likely to green light production of a sports car anytime soon, at least with the current management they’ve put in place at Volvo. Can you say clueless?

If that were local to me, I'd be all about having it, would be great fodder for a single pickup 7enderBird.
I’d be all over it too. But I would keep it a Blackbird. They’re just becoming too scarce. I’d fix the neck and redfish it or just refinish it if the neck is sound. In any case, I’d definitely be taking a look at it. The body looks to have a minor ding, easily fixed. And it’s all stock.

The neck on that bass is just the best. The other night I played my Epi VP for the first set and it did fine, love the Gibson pickups and there's some nice clank going on - start of the second set I pick the Gibson and somehow my left is thanking me, it just feels so good to play that bass.

That bass is pure magic.
And so are you.

Yeah. I saw an article in a car mag a few years ago that it was a design that could come back now and be appreciated-with some upgrades.
EDIT: Googling P1800 revealed a few interesting mods including an all-new version for $700k.

It's ok I guess...

My friends who both played double bass (1st & 2nd chair) in the Kansas City Symphony owned a few of these Volvo wagons because they could fit two full-size double basses in it with room to spare. They put a gazillion miles on each as they enjoyed road-trips in their off season.

What a great day! But damn. The three of us are all the same age. Why do I look so much older?

Marketed to women. Didn’t sell at all. My brother told management, “I told you so.” It was not his design.
