That bridge is not stock to that bass, not like it matters.
Hows it play?

I thought the Badass II was stock on a Studio, no?

Sounds like a CP to me. Measured the pickups and they are no more than 1/4” closer to the neck compared to my CP.

Thanks Geo. I’ll run through that thread tonight. That pic is a bit blurry. But it looks like Neko Case was there. Kathryn Caulder (keyboards on the right) is equally great. John Collins on bass. He’s great.

Interesting note about them. Frontman Carl Neuman and Kathryn are cousins. But they did not know it until she joined the band.

They have a rich catalogue of fabulous songs. And Neko’s solo catalogue is equally rich.

Here are a couple favorites. The first is The New Pornographers. Sans Neko. The second is Neko solo.

I thought I might get a little “dig” in to the California continent. The upcoming GTG sounds like it going to be a blast, sorry I can’t make it from all the way on the other coast.
Mrs Gator and I are on an anniversary get away. The inn on the Chesapeake Bay that we are staying at had this sign posted on the wine rack. It made me laugh and think of you all. Cheers.

Technically they’re wrong about NAPA… They’re pretty much just a franchise company licensing their name and coordinating all the bits that go into an auto parts business from what I can tell.

The best description to me is a CP all the way around with just a different bridge. Neck feels good, not chunky. My only complaint would be the finish from Gibson shouldn’t have orange peel, but it’s only visible in direct light. I suspect a good cleaning and polish will take care of that.

My favorite I’ve tasted was in Albania. It was a house wine, so pretty sure it was local.
