I have the Subway 410. It is sublime.Holy happy shaging horse poopie!
Sweetwater has 7 in stock…
bad news is ONE 15” speaker + cabinet costs almost as much as EIGHT 10” speakers + cabinet from Ampeg…
and since I’d need two…. $2,400…
see now the 55lb 1200w 410 is much more appealing to me at 4ohm for $1999, than 2 38lb 400w @8ohm 1x15’s
Last I checked, the 2x15 was less than 2x115s. But prices have increased substantially in the last 2 1/2 years. I’m really glad I bit the bulletCould go for the 2x15 instead, if you need two... if they have them. I think it's cheaper to by them in the single cabinet?
You’re a good Dad Willy. 425 watts in the hands of a ten year old. And drums. I can only imagine…..
Really dig the pic Ken.![]()
It’s another world.the novelty of the big human boo boo (ooops!) just wore off I guess…..it’s a BIG (60ft deep) lake….to think they used it for Little Boy target practice……kinda like being on a different planet….bizarro..…

I love the mountains. That is one reason I’ll never leave California. We have plenty of them. Including Whitney. Heck, my retirement place is at 6000 feet….Fascinating! Thanks for the clarification. Yeah, not the best example of a lot of flat off the top of my head. Should have maybe said, "flat looking." Point was this kind of Kansas which is often seen in pics and also what I've mostly seen. When images are shown of big expanses of flat land or highways, Florida typically isn't what is given as examples. But there are definitely some long flat highways. I'm sure the more towards the CO, Kansas really picks up in elevation. More East my way it seems mostly flat (compared to Kentucky which may not have much average variation from hight to low, but definitely isn't flat).
Interesting point by Kara about it having the highest percent of flat land at 52%. Having been to FL many times, that was a surprise. Must have been more in the 48% that isn't considered flat, which must be mostly N FL.
Being curious about Kentucky I found what Kara likely saw:
Here are the two of 10 flattest states:
Hard to believe if anyone has ever seen the mountains in the eastern part of the state. THe black Mountain on the border is a little over 4100ft. But the smaller far west part of the state is pretty flat and must make up for it. I doubt anyone ever visiting much of Kentucky would call it flat. Very little of it is. N Indiana looks far more flat. But must be the change in elevation is gradual. A good bit of IN looks like the KS pic below and virtually nothing in Kentucky but for very brief sections far west.

yep….we once had a drummer throw a drum stick at a guitarist because he was yawning onstage (full house)…..the guitarist freaked out and wiggled a monitor loose from the ceiling that inevitably landed on top of the drummer’s brand new DW kit who jumped over the kit and got the the guitarist in a headlock all mid set………. needless to say, the establishment (was kind enough) paid us for the remaining 2 months of the contract (by law didn’t have to) and sent us on our merry way……can’t write this stuff….z
Ha! I selected the blurry one from the library. Oops. TGIF.Was Mike visiting?
One more thing to thank Chuck for.Ha! If it weren't for Chuck Berry we'd all be playing accordiona!![]()
Our house is around 548+ft. A little shy of your second place!I love the mountains. That is one reason I’ll never leave California. We have plenty of them. Including Whitney. Heck, my retirement place is at 6000 feet….
Until Rainier (aka Tahoma) starts to expand to erupt. Which it will eventually do. It going to really suck to be in Tacoma when that happens. It will suck to be in Seattle, but at least it won't be under 150 feet of mud and ash.Sorry highest point in Kansas is 4,039ft, highest point in Florida is 345 ft. Florida is flat. Highest point in the contiguous U.S. is Mt Whitney in CA., just edging out Mt Rainer in WA. about 100 ft.
this guitarist used to boast over 100 hits of acid in his lifetime so….Sounds like they had a problem before. Many moons ago during my early twenties I had a drummer see someone flirting with his girlfriend on the dance floor, he jumped up in the middle of the song and ran out to the dance floor, jumped on him, it rolled outside.....bla bla bla, just another night with that band.I think they had some ongoing enmity going on too. I don't remember if we kept playing or not.
Jeez. Never did it. My College roommate did it once. He said never again. And he never did.this guitarist used to boast over 100 hits of acid in his lifetime so….
Thanks. But looking at my face, playing a bird seems to be a serious jobThat’s beautiful MV!
