So… ads. We must talk about Florida and the Tampa team a bit.

I’ve started getting ads for a tshirt slideshow, with the promo pic being a young woman in a “not everything is flat in Florida” t shirt. I haven’t clicked it.

So, is Florida a flat state? Geographically that is.
Generally, yes, but not like places like Kansas and some places from the midwest to the middle of the states. (Generally.)

You would likely still have shipping, but have you tried selling on here?

So tell us what you’re selling, we might be interested.

I’ve come down as low as I’m willing. I could part it out for more I’m sure but it’s a fantastic player.

No thx! The flats on this baby will stay on until they rot away. I don’t have any other bird that sounds like it, and I want to keep it that way. Besides, I have Boomers on my 1990 Greco IV that I can already shake the earth with.

I really wanna hear you or Chucky or Geo or somebody that can actually play with a pic play my Greco along with a classic Motown hit. It has the perfect vibe for that genre.

'Pick' the song - if classic Motown James Jamerson used his "claw" finger, but it's possible Bob Babbit used a pic on some of the later Motown hits. Carol Kaye used a pic/palm-muting on most everything she recorded. I very rarely played with a pick before joining Bond Girl but since then (nearly 10 yrs ago) I'm mostly playing with a pick and palm-muting. I consider it "my sound".

This is the Motown hit that to me sounds exactly like my Greco II bass would sound if I could pick and palm mute…

If you or others would like to give it a go I’d be in seventh heaven.

Yes-and no. Depends on where in FL you are. It ain't the Rockies, but there are a lotta rolling hills from Orlando north.

For the most part, extremely so. Geographically.

Sorry highest point in Kansas is 4,039ft, highest point in Florida is 345 ft. Florida is flat. Highest point in the contiguous U.S. is Mt Whitney in CA., just edging out Mt Rainer in WA. about 100 ft.
