Sorry highest point in Kansas is 4,039ft, highest point in Florida is 345 ft. Florida is flat. Highest point in the contiguous U.S. is Mt Whitney in CA., just edging out Mt Rainer in WA. about 100 ft.

We didn't do this one. We were 7 pieces: Trumpet, Trombone, Sax, Guitar, Drums, Bass, and lead singer(no keyboards). I was using a 66(?)Gibby EB-3. Didn't get my 67 TBird 'til 73.

Has anyone tried a rifle case for a Thunderbird? I’m considering a 76 key keyboard case (could hold two) and Pelican’s dual rifle case (holds one bird). The rifle case would need cutting; the keyboard case would probably want extra foam. Both are TSA approved, etc.
My Sweetwater rep said all he could do was hook me up with a custom case. Last time he did that it was about $700 but could be more by now.

Sweetwater has 7 in stock…

bad news is ONE 15” speaker + cabinet costs almost as much as EIGHT 10” speakers + cabinet from Ampeg…

and since I’d need two…. $2,400…

see now the 55lb 1200w 410 is much more appealing to me at 4ohm for $1999, than 2 38lb 400w @8ohm 1x15’s

When I looked at Kent Custom cases, it was gonna be ~$450. But that was a few years ago.

I’ve started getting ads for a tshirt slideshow, with the promo pic being a young woman in a “not everything is flat in Florida” t shirt. I haven’t clicked it.

So, is Florida a flat state? Geographically that is.
