You guys were nice and tight in the intro with a killer power chorus and then when your lead singer took the stage (from the audience, very cool!) she really put a great twist on the dark heavy metal sound. Female (hard, acid, heavy metal, whatever you want to call it) rock vocalists are so rare in that genre and by far my favorite icing on that cake. In that clip your band and singer are channeling PJ Harvey, NY Loose and PET (my 3 favorites). Post more clips when you get a chance and a link to any CDs you guys have put out!

thank you sir!! we founded the band late last summer and this was our first gig ever. We were put in some delay by our guitarplayer becoming a father and some Family issues of the Drummer and the singer, but luckily we didn't give it a rest and got going again :-)

We hope to make a cd and a "real" Music Video later this year, we're going for a "low fi" live'ish Sound, I hope it all turns out nice! and I simply LOVE my Team awesome fuzzmachine fuzz. :-D

For sure, Dawn Wells still looks damned good, given her years! Wonder if her coconut pie skills have held up as well? ;)

SD does a portion of Mike Lull's production, I wouldn't be surprised if they were making something similar and selling it themselves. The real question would be if they happened to pattern it after a specific example, i.e. a '63 or '66 as both Lull and Thunderbucker Ranch do.

Its a standard bolt on neck Epiphone, identifiable by the shape of the pickups, headstock, knobs and 3 point bridge. I'd say a nicely colored one. The PG is not likely stock.

If he planted bamboo, you immediately have too much bamboo. So, you need more instruments to make up for it. It's only fair.

And to build on the information you already have from Our Esteemed Monarch, it could have a couple different neck shapes. The earlier, Korean made ones have big round baseball bats. I have one just because I like that huge neck. Later ones have much smaller necks that are similar to neck through and set neck Thunderbirds. Neither is better or worse, just different. Finally, I believe the latest ones are made in Indonesia. Those and some of the later Chinese made Thunderbirds have the upper strap button on the neck plate. The Korean and earlier Chinese Thunderbirds have the strap button on the vestigal upper bout. If it is there, chances are good you will want to move it to the heel of the neck. I did that on my Korean made bolt-on by drilling a hole right through the cast neck plate and screwing in the strap button. It was actually very easy and looks fine, if a little odd. Another give-away that it's a bolt-on is the location of the output jack.

It looks pretty nice in the picture, and it has a case. For a decent price, it would be hard to go wrong unless there's some problem that doesn't show in the photo.

My bolt-on 'Bird has a somewhat darker finish than that. I'm not sure it's officially unique, but it sure looks like it came out unique somehow.

Make a deal with him that you get a new bass every time he gets a new bamboo clump. The way that stuff multiplies you'll be up to your elbows in basses in no time.
