Thunderbird Club

Birdie.

My favorite!

Where's the pic of you leaving with a newly acquired bass? Those places are not museums. You're supposed to walk out with things. After paying--not that mask and hoodie kind of shopping. Or, maybe you're still in there putting things in the cart and it's just taking a while.
Say what?

yeah, but looks a bit tooo modern. i found this club whilst searching string spacing to change the bridge for a brass/gold one. i bought some used gibson gold machineheads, they should be here in a coupleof days. then it'll get a brass nut, and i'll figure something for the pickup's.

It may already have a brass nut, all the Pro 4/5 Thunderbirds I've seen (so far.....) have them from the factory :)

I knew there were ‘11 Epis with the 1.5 nut. I wonder what month the change happened.

I was thinking that '11 was the year the chane-over started, and '12 was the first full year for the 1.5" nut width?

You may be the only person I know who never saw the movie or read the book.

....now there's two :bag:

Yes she is!
Oh, and the bass too. :)

No doubt! My favorite Queen also:D

You guys.....Too sweet, thank you.
It's nice to take a little break from the band, we don't officially have anything on the schedule until mid March and only a rehearsal for 12/8 right now. So I'll be spending a little more time with my gear instead of the band, I have a tube amp coming later this week and will be looking for another cabinet after the first of the year, and I need to look into some sort of pedal set that will allow me to just go right into an FOH as a choice of rig for some shows.......
Oh yeah, 2024 GTG in Seattle :)

the latter….Steve Crisp from SC Guitars…something you may be interested in doing?…

No, he sounds like the one to do it - what type of wood? Ebony? (my fave fretless wood) And lined or un-lined? Since you know the bass - unlined would be the way to go.
