A place like that probably doesn't need much amplification. Too much and it all turns to mush.

Late 60s? Not quite identical to the 1970 inputs. If an N, definitely not the 65-ish inputs.

'76 - 6L6s -

I installed this late '60s 8ohm JBL D140R to replace the CTS. R for Rogers (organs) Also came as D140F (Fender)

It has the more rectangular Thiele ported cab (not my cab - found pic that shows port-shelf)

Yep. I’m not sure what it was with the ones I tried at several stores in SoCal during a week we were staying in Newport. One store in OC had five of them (because they’re close to the factory). They just didn’t feel right to me. Maybe the thinner neck profile will be better for me, although I’m pretty much neck agnostic and generally adapt.

To me that chunk missing is not a "cool looking chip". It would make a cool project, but should be priced accordingly.

I saw Graham Parker & The Rumour there in about 79/80. They were excellent, and I was knocked out by the State.
