When I was in Japan in my USN days, I noticed that a lotta the "boozeries" were called "Bar______" rather than "______Bar". Shoulda been a "Bar Mitzvah". Missed a good bet.

Also once in Sasebo, Thailand, Philippines-Manila, Subic Bay/Olongapo(twice), Cebu, and Hong Kong.

I was there a few times in 66 and 67. Now that I think of it, I bought my first "bass"(a Filipino "Beatle Bass" copy) from a guy in a bar band in Olongapo. It was a POS, but it gave me a chance to dip into the world of bass playing.
And I sold it at a helluva profit. Enuff to pay for my first "real" bass, a 66 EB-3.

At one point, I was around so many Jewish people that I assumed whoever I met was Jewish until they told me otherwise. My experience with ethnicity has been far from stereotypical.

Yale and others found have been finding there are way more trees (7x) than previously thought. Heck, we have more trees here in the US than in 1920 and nearing what it was in the 1600s per the UN. Which is good. So you're safe either way.

Don't know specifics, but trees in SA have had a big increase as well. So there's hope.
